Exploring Paths: MSc or Law Conversion for a Career in Legal Tech
Hello, fellow career explorers! As someone who has carved a space in the world of Product Management and honed skills in coding and UX design over the past three years, I’ve developed a growing fascination with the legal landscape. Now stands the perfect time for an educational adventure into legal tech—a field that seamlessly marries my tech prowess with my legal interests. I’m writing to seek guidance on this journey.
With a solid foundation in tech and the financial freedom to further my education, I’m considering two educational paths: pursuing an MSc in Legal Tech or embarking on a Law Conversion course enriched with legal tech modules. In my quest for the right fit, I’ve been particularly drawn to offerings at the University of Law, as they appear well-aligned with my academic history.
The real question, however, remains: Which path should I choose?
If any of you have ventured through similar crossroads or have insights into the merits of these courses, your advice would be invaluable to me. It’s worth mentioning that I am actively scouting for opportunities in the legal tech sector and any educational pursuit would have to accommodate my current lifestyle, most likely through part-time study.
For those who have walked this path or have wisdom to share, your suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this exciting pivot in my professional journey!
